Has anyone been told that Ibrance will be going with tablets as soon as supply runs out. I just got mine filled -notice inside.?
Hi Eliactida1955,
I've not yet switched to tablet form, but I think there have been a couple of posts here from women who've received the new pills. If you use the search bar, top right of the screen, you can probably find some info from them...
I, for one, am happy for the change. The tablets can apparently be taken on an empty stomach (I eat infrequently and often forget to take the capsules at that time...) plus they are vegan, I think, which for me makes a difference. BUT, I'm always skeptical of any moves by Pharma, so am giving them the benefit of the doubt that the tablets are equally effective. I'm assuming they are, and think that's a safe assumption.
Take care, be well...

I worry about it and why the change? Is it becauseit will become cheaper for us? Anyway I hope it will work the same but who knows. Thanks for your response🙏🌹
Ohhhh, I doubt it will become cheaper for us, which an entirely different thing from it becoming more profitable for them......Capitalism....
p.s. vote thoughtfully.
Is this in the US or worldwide ?
I just got a notice from the company and it’s worldwide.. From the pics it looks 75 is pink kinda like letrozole round. 100mg looks oval and blue and 150 mg is oval kinda light lavender looking and it’s oval.. they say it’s lactose free gelatin free and can be taken without food..
Probably so I got the email this am.
I have not heard this in Nebraska. But I get mine refilled in a week. I will ask then.
I wonder why?
They are not really saying why but they say that you can take it without food and it will be lactose free and gelatin free-coated tablet . 75mg looks round and light pink like letrozole and 100 mg is oval and light blue. 125 mg is pinkish lavender and oval. I hope it works the same. They sent me an email form the company today. 🙏🌹
I heard it from the company a couple of months ago but I’m still getting the capsules. I figure when they arrive I’ll recognize that they are different🤣
If you want the Ibrance tablets you need a new prescription specifying tablets from your doctor.
Pfizer will not automatically convert to the new tablets even though they had stated this previously on their website. They want to use up their capsule supply.
I was told a few weeks ago but I’m getting mine this week so I will soon know if it’s a tablet or not. I haven’t heard anything about the conversion part or needing anything yet. I got an email from them .
