My original test results were 79 and now they are at 94 , I just hit my third month on imbrance when the test was performed and my doctor said its too early for the pills to show improvement and that its normal for the number to go up at the beginning . Has this happened to anyone before?

My CA153 levels rose for the first 4 months on ibrance and faslodex before dropping back, I was told that this was quite usual and nothing to worry about.

Hi there... I started Ibrance and Letrozole in March. I had my first 3 month scan on May 31 and my onc was very happy with the results. I had some improvement in a of couple areas. When I was first diagnosed my tumor markers were very high. My onc told me that most people have flare-ups when starting a new treatment. Little by little my tumor markers have been dropping. Praying that by August when I have my next scan they are in the double digits. Have you been feeling any side effects?
