Interesting new development in enrolling in a clinical trial.

I assume there would be no cost involved, just like participants selected by the manufacturer?

I didn't qualify for the comical trial l wanted to be in but if l had l would have not had to pay for any tests or treatments or Dr visits (for the trial) while l was enrolled in the trial.

Hi,

It sounds like this is for people who do not fit the criteria for the trial, or live to far away. If you do not qualify for the trial, this will help your DR try to get the trial meds approved by the drug company and FDA for you, if it looks like the best treatment option.

Sounds like a good idea.

Thank you for sharing this. Very interesting and important opportunity for patients and their physicians seeking new therapies! Will be interesting to watch this space and outcomes of patients who access these medications.
