Going down …to 400mg from 600mg on Kisqali

Met with the oncology doc and the oncology pharmacist and we decided to reduce the dosage to the next level. We discussed quality of life and my responsibilities with helping with my disabled son (he had a car accident 6 years ago and has a spinal cord injury) and decided this is the best course of action at this time.

The doc assured me that the majority of her patients are not on the highest dose and that she is very comfortable with the decision. I go to a cancer center and my oncology doc only sees breast cancer patients. She said if it works, it works no matter the dosage.

I will not be able to get a scan until the end of April because of insurance but that’s okay. I am really alright with the decision thanks to all you ladies who share your info with us. If it were not for you I would have been much more anxious about this.

Blessings to you all…..

Sounds like a solid plan and a good doc.
