Yes, Good news. When I became ibrance resistant I told my onc That I just got it refilled and she said hang on to it. I have been on xeloda for a year and working well (NED). But eventually I know will stop working. I was on ibrance for almost 2 yrs.
That's a really interesting article. I've printed it off to discuss with my oncologist when he time comes thank you
Love this too! I was pulled off and always had the gut feeling it was too soon! One little bump in the road... I’m still of the opinion - call me crazy, but when I get NED (and I will!) - can I let my own body and immune system do its job? As I hope to be drug free someday! Too many success stories of people living lives after stage 4. Today I live a completely different life - plant based, mediation, juicing, stress free (not working), Acupunture, yoga... the list goes on! I never hear anyone talking about this... ? Prayers to us all.
Thank you so much. I will definitely be showing my oncologist at my next appt. Lately, I have plateaued and not reached NED accodrding to tumor markers (but have a bone scan coming to differentiate old vs. currents mets). This is encouraging to read though not sure how well known this is with specialists.
