Almost 5 years in. I’ve had scan results that were up and down. I truly thought my recent scans would be bad as I was coughing a lot. They were stable with some regression. Guess it’s my asthma or allergy to my cats. I tried to stay busy the two weeks before my scans. It worked a little, but a few days before my anxiety started climbing. I meditated and read my Buddhist stuff. Went to a comedy show. But I could not quell the anxiety and accept that this is not entirely possible. I did start on a new cbd oil, which seems to level me out. I silently recited my mantra, “Let what needs to be known be made known”. I was outwardly calm but had a few tearful moments before getting the results. I didn’t really jump up and down, because I was still in my high alert, cautionary mode. As someone said, always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Everything you’re feeling is normal for us. Use whatever you have to to calm your fears and get enough sleep. I usually take Xanax before my scans but actually forgot to, Between the cbd oil, antidepressant and internal dialogue, and of course my supportive husband, I got thru it. You will too. It’s very hard, this new relationship with mortality. It is a fight and takes planning so it will not steal your joy. Lots of love 💕 and luck and please let us know the results!!! 💫

It doesn’t, but the intensity and our focus on it shifts. Praying for great news so you can exhale and get back to enjoying your life

I think we all are anxious some more than others because our life and treatment depends on scan results, I try not to think about it but still have some anxiety

I was having pain on my abdomen and I had all the symptoms of something on my liver but I am glad it was negative
