Thanks! I’ve tried that, colace and Movantik. I think my body is getting too used to these things. I had the flu and got really dehydrated and did t do miralax for a couple of days and its back with a vengeance. A vicious cycle. I quit bread, dairy and alcohol and sugar temporarily. I think that sugar may have to be next 😕

Other than that, I need something permanent. I plan on seeing the gastrointestinal doctor soon.

Personally, I think its all about sugar and wheat. Eliminating those things is tough and sometimes you just can't help yourself. But, sugar constipates terriblly.

Also, I keep Dr Schlutz intestinal formula 1 on hand when I eat like crap! And that is the holidays!!

Great thanks! I skipped the homemade apple pie tonight bc I really do think sugar is affecting me terribly! The Dr. Shultz is probably the only thing I haven’t tried! Thanks for the tip. : )

Have you considered glycerine suppositories?.. they worked for me when I was taking morphine and had dreadful constipation

Also it means not swallowing stuff that irritates your tummy and they do help if you have haemorrhoids

I havenut stopped, I’ll try again. I had a blockage and had to get it out, not giving details, but it was aweful. I then took a hot sit bath and I feel much better.

Try Metamucil plus miralax. Also, try eating a variety of pears , prunes, apples and molasses cookies.

Thanks! My prob now is the hemmoroids so I can’t go bc I’m so swollen: /

Trying to homd it in until the swelling goes down so I’m super bloated. I need to try taking these products I think instead of what I’ve been taking. I’ve akso made an appointment with the GI doctor to see what else I can do. I get a blockage about every 6 weeks....

Perhaps as well as these suggestions you need to drink a lot more water. If this happens on a regular basis and you've been sick too . Also I know why you want hold it in till swelling goes down but won't the pressure actually compound the swelling issue? Take care with that, hopefully you're seeing a doctor very soon.

Mine has been awful. I have restoralax and senekot which has a built in stool softener. I am constantly eating high fibre cereal and drinking lots of water. I have also added a probiotic pill. It will help for a while and then my doctor added a med to help with my depression and now everything is stopped up again. It is painful.

My hip is bad and I can’t get in and out of a tub.

Try probiotics....30-90 billion. It helped me a lot. I also find that regular meals help...I don’t eat enough and am always more regular when I’m on a trip where people eat 3 meals.

Sister/warrior I truly understand your pain. Years ago when I was going through I.V. aggressive chemo, I developed horrible Hemorroids . What worked for me was Preparation H suppositories, and Preparation H external cream. I also drank tons of water, and ate prunes. I have a lot of Caribbean friends who swear by a natural product called Senokot which purges , and cleans your system. I read some other great information on Google. Don't consume cheese or diary products, and no white bread. I pray that God will restore you, and relieve your pain, as God relieved me many years ago.. I hope/pray you, and our sister/warriors, and their loved ones will have A Happy, and Healthy 2019 New Year.

When I was eating prunes back then to alleviate the problems you are now experiencing, my husband, and step son started eating the prunes which they had never tasted before. When they tried them they liked them, and wouldn't stop eating them, even though I told my husband to eat just a couple, and not to give the boy more than two. They didn't listen. Suffice to say my husband had to make a run for the one bathroom we had, but my step son was standing outside the bathroom door trying to hold his cheeks together, waiting for his dad to get out. My husband didn't come out in time, and my step son soiled his pants, and my husband had to clean his sons underwear, and pants. His dad also had to put him in the shower. Jeez why is it that men just don't listen to good advice from the woman in their lives, who truly love them. They respect the power of the prune now. XoXoXoX Happy 2019

LOL, thanks for my laugh of the day! It's nice that you try natural means before going to any pill or supplement , that is my style as well.
