Hi everyone, I just found out I have a new spot on my pelvis. I had it on my L4 vertebrae before this. I have had 3 rounds of ibrance and on the Faslodex shots. My Dr. wants to keep me on those but wants me to do another stereotactic radiation again this will be my 2nd time for that but 4th time for radiation. Any thoughts?

Radiation is the best thing to do. Get it to shrink before it has time to grow. Stay strong 💕
My 2nd go around with breast cancer...now Stage VI. Never had radiation before. Sorry
There are oncs who believe that mbc involving a very small number of bone mets is sometimes curable, using stereotactic radiation. U of Florida advertises that. That said, I was diagnosed with denovo bone mets in spine, pelvis, shoulder blade and a rib but have never had symptoms and have not had radiation but if I develop pain in the metty places, I would try rads.
Radiation treatment uses much less radiation than it used to and the risks are alot less than they were 20 years ago, probably even 10 years ago.
I'm sorry. I hope you don't mind me posting my news here also. I found out Friday the Ibrance and Faslodex are not working for me. Cancer is all through my back. Spine, ribs and shoulder bones. No organs have been affected. The Oncologist is trying a different chemo pill. Don't remember the name. There will be 2 pills. They are working out the details to see if it is covered under my prescription plan. I thought seriously about stopping treatment, but my husband doesn't want me to. He will honor my wishes but he still gives his input. Sorry to take over your post Hock 15. I've never posted on my own and don't even know how. I'm sorry about your results. I try to keep track of the people by name that I have responded to and pray for them.
Hey Selmac we are all in this together. For now my dr wants to keep me on the two drugs and stereotactic radiation. Please let me know the other pills when you can. Thank you and cyber hugs
Good morning Selmac♥️
