I know someone who is triple negative and metastatic. I will try and have her respond to your query. You might want to connect with other women in your situation. Fortunately, there are several website that lend support to women with advanced disease. One such site is The Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation, tnbcfoundation.org. They are dedicated to supporting TNBC-specific research and to providing meaningful programs and services to the TNBC community.

May I also suggest Share, the non-profit with which I'm affiliated? We have several phone-in groups for women with metastatic disease led by both social workers and volunteers living with stage 4. We can also assign you an individual telephone peer whose

situation will resemble yours, if that would be helpful.

Check out our website at sharecancersupport.org if you are interested.

Best of luck.

Hi Sindee,

I am triple negative with bone mets since February of this year. Do you have any specific

questions or just need to connect with those with same diagnosis.

It is a bummer! And I'm so sorry you have go through this. We just do the best we can.

If you'd like to talk, I'd be happy to.

My original cancer in the breast was triple negative. Then when it was found in my bones, it was ER+/PR-. Then about 10 years after that, a new primary breast tumor was found to be ER+/PR-/Her2+ I hope your doctor did a biopsy on your metastatic tumor. As you can see in my case, there are times when the cancer can change characteristics. Best wishes to you!
