I am new here, diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago. Grade 1, HER2 positive. Had chemo, mastectomy and radiation. No lymph node involvement. No metastasis. Am having a mastectomy on the other breast prophylacticly. Suffering from anxiety, about reoccurance. Will have reconstruction surgery. Still suffer from chemo brain. No short term memory.

Hi, I had breast cancer 11 years ago now and it was a grade 3 and had gone into my lymphs. I have only just been discharged after having hormone treatment for ten years. I had terrible trouble with chemo brain to the extent I could not remember my pin numbers for my banking cards and I kept getting lost in town etc, which would really spook me. However it does go and I have managed to sit exams and complete a degree I was doing. I am always scared of reoccurrence and have a chest ct scan next week as they are keeping an eye on some nodules they have found on my lungs. I wish you all the best and hope that everything goes well for you.
