My sister is currently in treatment for Breast Cancer. She has just finished AC-T chemo. Her reaction was to the AC portion of the chemo. Her hands swelled and the skin began to peel. It was fairly painful, but she wanted to continue. Her doctor reduced the drug by 25% for her last AC treatment and she took a break of several weeks before starting T (Taxol) portion. Taxol can cause neuropathy in the hands/feet and, given the condition of her hands, he wanted to give them a chance to heal a bit before starting. While her reaction was not to Taxol, I hope this is helpful.
