Did you start chemo? If so call your doctor and ask for meds to help.they should have something to help. Depending on what kind of chemo they should be able to help. They are there to help you. CALL!

Hi Faye, Sorry you're feeling so poorly after treatment. I really recommend the book "Just Get Me Through This." It has lots of tips for tolerating chemo. I found that eating during treatment helped. Also, did your Dr prescribe a pill called Emend? That helps a lot. Ask your Dr what else you can do, maybe there are meds he can give you. As for me, I found that chamomile teas, things with ginger and eating light helped. Good luck and I hope you tolerate future treatments much better.

Peppermint tea helped me. Peppermint essential oil and a carrier oil applied to your belly helps too. Just one drop of the peppermint!!

I was just going to recommend what the other wonderful ladies said. The doctors office should have given you a book or guide or reference on what to expect and the. What to do, like a notebook. You should be able to order one online through your insurance company or cancer organizations as they are great resources. I got one years ago from the Livestrong.org Foundation. Your doctor's office should have something to give you for this, and I agree on the peppermint. Chemo affects everyone differently. If you receive the shot (they may do it differently now) after chemo, you may want to ask about side effects from that.
