Since you have access to a computer, look into "post mastectomy bras and prostheses". You will find many brands. Here in New York many people use products from the Amoena Company. Bras come in all styles, sizes and colors. Prostheses do to. The most comfortable ones are styles which are concave, meaning that they are indented in the back, allowing for an air pocket between it and your skin. The bras have pockets so the prostheses can be inserted and the lining of the pocket goes into the indentation, making it very comfortable. Most insurances cover the cost of these items. Good luck. Try either Lily's Masectomy Boutique in Glen Head, L I. or American Cancer Society TLC catalogue, items are returnable.

I also found sports bras w/ pockets at department stores. They are lightweight, but do go over your head.

Aftwr surgery, I felt like my skin was on fire, and had a lot of itching. It eventually dissapates.

P. S. By the way, I don't even like wearing prosthesis anymore, just very light foam pads from sports bras. It feels freeing to go flat.
