oral tests

I have a few questions. I was diagnosed with Herpes recently, having had my first outbreak. Since then I keep getting, on and off cystitus but I don't seem to have any sores. Is this a symptom of repeated outbreaks? or is it something else?

I also wanted to ask about oral sex....I was tested for everything but wasn't given an oral swab- the tests came back clear apart from the Herpes one- so chlamydia etc was not detected in my tests so does this mean if I don't have it on the vaginal swab then I don't have it orally? Or should I get that tested too?

Thanks in advance x

How was the herpes simplex diagnosed ? on a vaginal swab ? in the uk we don't usually do throat swabs for gc/ct - you can have chlamydia at the back of the throat but its unlikely
