Constant burning on penis head.....

So I had unprotected oral sex (no other penetration) around 3-4 weeks ago and a day or two or later I had an intense burning on my penis head. Typical this would be when sitting or AFTER urination. It felt mostly like a friction thing.

Anyway symptoms persisted and I noticed a minor mucous like discharge on 'milking' in the morning. There is minor discharge during the day but this looks like precum. I have no additional urge to urinate or burning during urination.

I am currently in a remote area and the doctor is not well equipped for diagnostics, he checked my urine and said there was no abnormalities. He proscribed Azithromycin 1g and Cefadroxil (6 day course).

This did not work - went back, another urine test, all fine. Gave me 2g of Azithromycin.

No change.

This week he gave me 1g Azithromycin and 800mg of Cefixime and this still has had no improvement.

I took 150mg of Fluconazole for potential yeast (due to all the antibiotics) and still no relief.

This surely cant be bacterial, with no abnormalities in the urine and all the antibiotics I have taken.

Anyone else in this boat???

First of all I am sorry you are going through this, but it does sound like gonorrhea. However, it is useless to keep taking antibiotics if its not probably diagnosed. Is there any way to get a swab from the tip and have it tested for STDs? If you are treating this incorrectly it will not go away and you will have some long term possible issues. Usually a simple STD test of panels can quickly diagnose the problem and you can be treated with the correct antibiotic. The first few days of treatment will be exhaustive to the body, but you will feel better very soon. There are online testing sites that can make a lab test available for you in your area.
