Cold sores are pretty common and part of herpes. This is nothing to worry about, but of course when they have an outbreak in their mouth-- it is not a good idea to have any oral sex. Are the cold sores on the outside of the lips or on the face? This is a sign of a deeper outbreak and you should avoid further contact until they heal.
