I had unprotected anal sex last august 8 with a gay guy. I didnt know his status. 11 days after, i got sick. I had sore throat, fever, fatigue, loss of apetite, and joint pain. These symptoms lasted for 4 days. On the 5th day, i had headache and i got rashes all over my body. Most were on my chest and neck. Some on the face arms, and legs. They were red, flat and itchy. Some rashes were raised. On the 7th day, i had a CBC. My WBC were down to 3.
I thinks this is ARS. I might have hiv. I'm planning to get tested ASAP. Ive research that i need to wait 3mos, November 8.

Hi, the modern HIV tests should be accurate 4 weeks after exposure, with a retest at 12 weeks if it is negative. A negative test is very reassuring (although not 100%), so go and get tested. Make sure it is a 4th generation test. Dr Webberley
I am from the Philippines. Unfortunately, I only have access to the Rapid test which is offered for free here by a NGO. I prefer it since they promise confidentiality.
Would you like me to ask my laboratory if they can send you a home testing kit. You would have to prick your finger and squeeze the blood into a tiny tube and then fast ship it to the UK?
