I have been having sensations in my lower legs. Like water running through veins and as though being kicked on shins. Is it RLS

Very possible, but you will probably need to consult a doctor and have everything else dismissed before you could be certain.

Thankyou for your help. I am having physiotherapy at the moment so I will mention RLS to the Physio who then reports to Dr.

sounds very likely to me, althought we all describe our symptoms differently, sounds fairly classic to me, i would go see your gp, some of them need a bit of convincing though, so maybe you could print of some literature from the websites, and take it with you

Do these sensations occur usually in the evening, or are worse in the evening. Does movement help ease the sensations, and do you have an irresistable urge to move.

Worse at bedtime. Don't have urge to move legs.

My understanding is that in the criteria for RLS your symptoms have to include the absolutely irresistable and compelling urge to move your legs for relief of symptoms.
