hi, and sorry you had to join us, as for anti histamines, they can make RLS worse, but not all of them, its a matter of finding one to suit you, i have Betahistine, for Menieres Disease, and it doesnt affect me, so im lucky, but im sure, someone else has a better idea than me, and they well see this and give you a bit more advice

Hi, Mumoftwin, if you look at the questions, someone has asked about antihisthamines. Nightdancer has left a comment on what is the best to take and what to avoid taking...Very good info from someone who has great knowledge of RLS and medication to take which are ok and which are not.

Also as i havent really used Ropinerole, i am wondering if your skin reaction is a normal one to that med.

Maybe someone who takes Ropinerole will know the answer to that aswell..

any antihistamine that has Diphenhydramine (main ingredient in Benedryl and othe antihistimines and over the counter sleep meds) And, the pseudoephedrine is like speed. These wll make your RLS worse almost for sure. Look at the treatment page on rlshelp.org I take prescription Allegra, and no issues with RLS. You can take antihistimines with Ropinirole, but make sure they are not ones that will aggravate your RLS. If your doctor thinks you are nuts, then maybe you need a new doctor or a referral to a neurologist.
