How do you juggle antihistamine drugs Vs RLS? Now our HOT summer is on the way! lol

Hi I'm Richy and was wondering what with the summer coming lol ... How does everybody juggle taking Hayfever tabs with RLS. I've cut out antihistamine tablets ... but find Benadryl very effective ;-(

hi, i also have Meniers disease, so i have to take them, ive found, after trying quite a few, that Betahistine suits me, bit of trail and error i think

Well, unless you really wnat a bad loong summer, you probably do not wnat to be taking Bebedryl, or anythin with Diphendramine in it. It will bother your RLS 9 out of 10 times. It is pretty universal, but always an exception to everything. :o) also, stay away from the ingredient Pseudoepinephrine.It is like speed, and why it is sold behind the pharmacy counters now in the US. I use the prescription allegra, and that does not make my legs any worse than they are. I only take them when I am absolutely miserable, though, just in case. Sudafed has a formula that is safe with neither of those ingredients. Good Luck!

sorry for typos. I am running on no sleep at the moment. My RLS attacked me last night, and I did everything the same way I always do. You never know.

I take chlorepramine for my hay fever which also has a sedative effect . My rls is worse at the full moon. My star sign is cancer. Anyone else noticed their rls worse at this time. Or maybe I am a werewolf . Any ideas ?

Interesting about antihistamine! I have noticed that when weeding all the nettles in my garden my rls is much worse that night. I have googled nettle contents and one of the chemicals is histamine.
