codeine

I had five back fractures and took 60 mg of codeine then move down to 30, and then only took it once in a while when necessary and stopped. I took it for a year and I don’t think I was ever addicted. Everyone is different but I think it’s pretty safe at 15 mg.

I agree. Many years ago, I came down with shingles, and took a 30 mg. codeine pill alternating with 400 mg. of ibuprofen every three hours for months, which is 120 mg. of codeine per day. No addiction, no withdrawal.
