Thanks, sue. Do you have any references for your advice on BP meds and diuretics that might help my wonderful gp?

Https://ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl... for diuretics.

pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/368... for clonidine

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl... for propranolol

Isosorbide Mononitrate - I haven't found anything that says it isn't safe.

healthunlocked.com/rlsuk/po... for prazosin - this is the study but of course the study doesn't refer to RLS google.com/search?q=Prazosi...

pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/257... for tadalafil

Unfortunately when I started all this I didn't always save the source and I am having trouble finding one for ace inhibitors.

Wow! Thanks so much for your work on this. Doc prescribed olmesartan 20 mg twice daily as zestril 20mg daily wasn't working.

Hydrochlorothiazide is the mos common diuretic prescribed but I found that chlorthalidone worked better for me. Both are thiazide diuretics, the safest and most common kind. Some recent studies have found that chlorthalidone is more effective in general and it is starting to be used more often. Ask your doctor.
