Yes. I tried clonidine recently (in addition to the 300mg pregabalin that i also take). Unfortunately it made me light headed and dizzy at a really low dose. It was great at helping me get to sleep and also with depth of sleep but I had to discontinue it. My young son takes it but hasn't complained of those side effects. You could try searching "clonidine" on this site as that's the drug name.
my doctor suggested I try it but I have low blood pressure and clonidine wouldve made it dangerously low. Just as well I read up about it myself and told my doctor. She then agreed it wouldn't be safe for me. Always good to learn what you can before taking new medication.
It is used to treat high blood pressure and helps with insomnia. Consumer Reports says it can be used to treat RLS consumerreports.org/cro/201... and is worth trying. You should certainly not use it if you have low blood pressure or orthostatic hypotension. Discuss this with your doctor. It is used by at least a few on this forum.

And I agree with Amrob. Put clonidine in the search box at the top.
Thank you all. I did do research and also search this forum. I didn't find much. It's worth a try.
I tried it. I only took it at night and it seemed I had a kind of rebound high BP during the day when it wore off. I talked my doc into me taking it twice, AM and PM. Sent my BP into a crisis, ended up in ER, made me horribly nervous and slept little. BP problems continue now. I don't know to what degree clonodine caused this or just the stresses of trying meds with a lot of side effect issues.
