Can withdrawal from Gabapentin make RLS worse or rebound. Husband is on Gaba and Oxycodone. Trying to lower Gaba dose but last 4 nights RLS has started coming back worse each night. Been dropping 100mg per week for last two weeks.

It doesn't make the underlying RLS worse. It just means the gabapentin is helping your husband with his symptoms so of course when you reduce it, his symptoms that were helped by gabapentin will show up again.
Trouble is his consultant wants him reduce Gabapentin right down, especially while on Opioids. Should he try a change to Pregablin?
He could although his doctor might also not want him on it while on opioids. If you do, divide the gabapentin dose by 6 to get the correct dose of pregabalin. Is he having breathing problems? That is the reason that doctors usually don't want them on both.
