Anyone’s views/experiences of this USA RLS treatment?

Hi, one for our American chums on here please: has anyone heard about or even better had a consultation and treatment for the vein expansion operation devised by the Anderson Podiatry Centre for RLS? They claim it has been very successful. I don’t quite understand the science behind it as I am not a physiologist or nerve expert, but would like to know more even though I can’t imagine it’s available anywherein the UK. I found it on YouTube while searching for stuff on RLS, so search Addison Podiatry Centre, RLS on YouTube and you should find it easily enough. Let me know whatever you think if nothing else - as I say there’s no likelihood of me getting it here any time soon, and no UK physicians I’ve spoken to have heard of it. Thanks.

Someone else asked this question last year: there was only one truly relevant (negative) response at the time:

healthunlocked.com/rlsuk/po...

There was another thread later last year. One person had had it done many years ago to little effect:

healthunlocked.com/rlsuk/po...

Perhaps someone else has tried more recently. .

Thanks a lot, can’t say I’m surprised, did wonder whether relief would be temporary. Saved myself a very expensive trip.

Back to the drawing board …

If a US sufferer had heard of this treatment, had it, and really benefitted they may never have had cause to seek out this UK and European site. But maybe someone will respond to your post...

There are positive testimonials on Anderson's website (but I guess he wouldn't post negative stories)

I find it hard to fathom , how they would treat RLS in fingers and arms etc

Flying from Australia to the USA for treatment was what I had to do , I am so grateful after several trips I found the key for me.

it based on increasing circulation to fix problem.

I have severe RLS and my circulation is fantastic, even though my calves feel cold to touch my feet are toasty warm. RLS is neurological not blood flow related.

All the RLS specialists on RLS.org are neurologists except one.
