weird symptoms pramipexole weaning

I just can't seem to get over the strange symptoms of burning, tingling, weird widespread sensations I can't even describe, like an electric light show across my body. Even very sharp pain at times in the same area for a few seconds and then stopping.

I never know when it's going to come up. I used to just have the worst symptoms in the afternoon and evenings and now mornings have their own challenges. I am .25mg weaning down from 3 mg pramipexole and I really want to be off this medicine. I feel I can't ever have a normal life until I am off completely. My doctor ordered a MRI for me to rule out any other neurological issues but I'm pretty sure this is just the withdrawal. I had the MRI yesterday. I have read some people that take a very long time for these symptoms to subside. I just hope I'm not one of them.

For non prescription medication I use the Red Kratom tablets. Approximately 6 tablets. For prescription meds drugs like Tramadol and other narcotics work.

Relief came from leaning toward a low glycemic foods. Kratoms relief in minutes if you can stomach it, it is worth it. Lower leg compression too continues to be helpful.

It’s the withdrawal. I had the same thing when weaning off of a DA. Good luck. I hope it subsides soon!
