By now you have likely heard that new guidelines on prescribing opioids have been released. Unfortunately, RLS was not considered in the update. This change will fuel the RLS Foundation’s advocacy work to ensure a carve-out for RLS in the future. In the interim, please report any problems you face in maintaining a relationship with your healthcare provider and/or obtaining prescription access to opioid therapy to manage refractory RLS.
