US Opioid Study

The US RLS foundation has posted a link about a study on low dose opioids for RLS.

This will be invaluable for those of us with severe RLS for whom all other treatments have failed. The US & UK governments are seeking to clamp down on opioid use due to over prescription and abuse.

If taken in low doses by those of us who do not have a history of opioid addiction/abuse they can quite literally be life saving.

I attach the link in case anyone wishes to take part. I have signed up to it even though I’m based in the UK. The interviewer was very helpful and pleasant and phoned me via internet phone/whatsApp

Yep. I thought that too. It was fun explaining my weight. What are “stones”? I had to do quick mental arithmetic to convert my weight from stones & pounds to just pounds. Then had to explain why we’ve switched to metric in a lot of things but not our height, weight or motorway distances.

We really need to be more consistent here in UK.
