Via diet and iron supplements, my RLS is mostly under control - mostly. Occasionally, like last night, as I settle for the night, the middle toes on my right foot begin to curl down, like clenching a fist. It's not severe but it is bothersome. I assume this, too, is an element of RLS but haven't seen it described. Google didn't get me anywhere. Does anyone else have this? Thoughts?

By any other name?
I agree with you - curling toes are not a common symptom of rls.!?I wonder would a go of magnesium help if it's a muscle cramping problem?
You could try pulling up your toes towards your chin with leg straightened. To stretch the calf and plantar muscles ?
Good luck.
My toes are started curling up. I had put it down to the Pramipexole but, As you’re not taking it I’m not so sure now
Have you tried magnesium?Occasionally magnesium is combined with a herb called Cramp Bark. That combination really helps with cramping.
Excellent suggestion - I had laid off magnesium recently but I will resume it. (Smacking my forehead)
You do not state what dietary changes you have made to control your RLS so it's impossible to advise you if there are further measures you can take.
I have had curly/crampy toes for years. Unable to stretch them. I reckon it's part of the general RLS symptoms. I know it's scary. I woke up hitting my other hand last night involuntarily. Usually only kick myself awake. It's now starting to go to my arms as well. Not on any RLS medication. Very bad hayfever and migraines now. It's catch 22 as I need Citirizin for that and paracetamol for headache. Hope they find a cure one day.
