ANTIBIOTICS
So sorry to hear of your troubles. Things have been difficult for you and I do hope the doctors will get you sorted very soon. All good wishes
So sorry to hear this. You're right though- treating the cellulitis is the most important thing. Maybe ask if you could add a small dose of codeine as it would help both the RLS and the pain from the cellulitis. I hope you recover soon.
So sorry you are suffering. An opiate could help until you get back on the gabapentin. X
Antibiotics worsen my RLS considerably.
There are a number of posts on this forum about antibiotics and worsened symptoms.
It sounds like you need something stronger eg more gabapentin OR an opioid to help you through. I'd be wary of taking both together because of the risk of respiratory depression but that's best discussed with your doctor.
I developed cellulitis after breast cancer surgery and was on doxycycline for 6 months. I take Pregabalin for my RLS and I noticed no increase in symptoms. I know we all react differently but thought it worth a mention. Not sure what antibiotics you are on.
