I've read that in CHU in Lille in France, they have experienced with succès brain infusion of dopamine for Parkinson sufferers.
Since RLS is also related with a lack of dopamine, I was wondering....
Maybe a way to look at?

Sounds interesting!🤔😎
That will not help people with RLS. People with Parkinsons no longer produce dopamine, hence adding a dopamine-like drug (usually carbidopa-levodopa) or a dopamine agonist works for them. People with RLS have ample dopamine. They do not have enough dopamine receptors to transport dopamine from one nerve cell to the other. I never can remember whether the dopamine remains and actually reaches increased levels onside the cells or in the intercellular space. Whatever, I think the difference between RLS and Parkinsons is clear enough re the potential of a dopamine injection in the brain. Not for people with RLS.
I hope they do not claim it will work??
They claim it works for parkinson. It's only me who though it could be an area to search for...
Good for the people with parkinson. Do they say something about how long it lasts? I have a dead friend with severe parkinsons. He has just reached the point of needing to go to a care home, not that she wants to, but it is too unsafe for her at home.
