I am taking 300 mg. of Gabapentin at 8 p.m. and 600 mg. at 10, with 5 to 10 mg. Tramadol to help with augmentation after getting off ropinirole. This was a dosage I was taking when my GP increased it twofold to 600 mg. at 8 and 900 mg. at 10. I had an episode of about the same feeling and on my own decreased it back down. Symptoms of panicky and nervousness settled down. I am having a difficult time at night with the increase of rls symptoms, so I recently increased the 300 mg. mg at 8 to 600 . I am experiencing the nervousness, panic and hands and fingers tingling. I am still also taking the tramadol. Does anyone know perhaps they know of others experiencing this from Gabapentin or tramadol?

Gabapentin and Tramadol. Something is making me feel very nervous and panicky
These are not known side effects of gabapentin except for the tingling. Don't know about the tramadol, although researching it, it lists nervousness, anxiety and tremor. It is strange though that these side effects increase with your increase in gabapentin. I would talk to your doctor.
You should look up the side effects of gabapentin. It can cause mood swings, depression, anxiety, restlessness and many other undesirable effects. Some people seem to be able to take it and many others find it intolerable. It would seem you are OK at a lower dose but cannot increase without trouble. I hope you get this sorted soon.
Gabapentin causes anxiety, panicky feelings, out of body sensations. I experienced the same thing and it was horrible. You are taking a very insane amount of gabapentin. I am now taking pregablin. It is stronger the gaba and works way better for me and no anxiety, panic attacks etc.
I would get a second opinion. That much gaba and tramadol. I'm surprised you can even get going at all.
I’m currently taking 300 mg gabapentin and 100 mg tramadol in the evenings and 600 mg gabapentin, 100 mg tramadol around 8 pm. This has been working great for me. The tramadol for me was prescribed for me because of pain (back issues) not RLS. I’ve not had any issues other than that in the beginning I slept a little longer than before. Learned gaba can do that. After taking it for a couple months, all seems back to normal, whatever normal is.
