Living with RLS At 18 years old I would from time to time have a difficult time falling asleep and my leg moving I would see doctors even a urologist it stopped no more RLS fast forward to my late twenties the RLS returned again no one knows what it was one day while watching tv I see a commercial and it said do yo suffer from this it might be RLS I went to a neurologist and bingo I’ll never forget I drank a primopixole and my leg stopped moving after awhile I augmented and switched to ropinorole at night for more than 2.0 plus years I added the neupro patch 18 years ago and I’m RLS free at first the patches were very expensive I started using the discount card and I was hooked then when I shopped for health insurance I would check the drug price first the two years ago I found this site and for the first time I heard the work augmented and decided to get off ropinole I went to a RLS specialist on the RLS foundation website and it was a disaster he was very uncaring like I have to deal with it and after seeing two doctors in one day I said to my self why am I dealing with this I went back to my meds and was back to normal the positive thing about the ordeal was my dosage dropped I think the most important thing about this forum is relief from this condition this is my story

I would contact the RLS Foundation. I am sure they would not want to recommend a doctor that treated you like that. You could save someone else from the same experience. And being a RLS specialist and telling you that you just have to deal with it.
