Can anyone give me a list of medications that cause or aggravate
RLS please? I have sciatica starting up again and want to make sure the consultant doesn’t prescribe anything to make my RLS worse.

I replied to a similar question a few weeks ago, but I can't find my post history-- used to be in my profile, but HU seem to have changed everything around.
Try looking in these two sites.
AS far as I'm aware the list includes
Antidepressants
Sedating antihistamines, (as found in anti-allergy meds, cough medicine and over the counter sleeping aids)
Neurolopetics (antipsychotics)
Some ant-emetics e.g. metoclopramide
Proton pump and H2 inhibitor antacids
Beta blockers
Some meds for high blood pressure
Some statins
A better way of looking at it is to identify what meds you are taking or have been advised to take and then checking if that individual med is likely to make RLS worse.
Hi i just brought a book on RLS as my partner a Dialysis patient has RLS iwill at the book tonight and let you know later what the book recommends.
Thank you. Look forward to hearing more when you have read the book. I really hope there is something to help your partner who has enough to cope with without RLS.
