Nytol Herbal Sleep Aid

I take 0.5 Ropinerole for a mild to moderate RLS and normally get a decent nights sleep, however sometimes even though there is no RLS I get insomnia and awake all night so I decided to take a 50 mg one -a-night Nytol, the result was horrendous as my RLS flared up to a severe extent that night keeping me awake and no sleep at all. I had first taken Nytol a few nights before and had a RLS flare up that I put down to a one off episode but now I am convinced that after using Nytol again it triggers off a severe RLS and I will no longer use it. Has anyone else experienced anything like this after taken a herbal sleep aid?

Nytol contains a sedating antihistamine.

Definitely a NO NO for RLS

I had the same experience with Nytol, worst night of my life.

Everyone will have the same experience. It's a sedating anti histamine and they're all on the list of meds to avoid. Sorry you had to learn the hard way.
