Is this RLS?

I notice that I can’t let my hands touch my thighs or that creepy crawling feeling starts in the thighs (where I seem to experience the majority of my RLS symptoms....the calves, too). But when I have taken my RLS meds and am not experiencing RLS symptoms in the late evening and overnight, when I touch my hands to my thighs I don’t get that feeling. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have that feeling too when my knees are itching. Any time of the day. So I stop immediately. I think it is just that my body has become incredibly sensitive now.

Thank you for your reply Heatherlss. Although I don't wish this on anyone, it helps to know that it's not just me. My doctor doesn't seem to think it is RLS, but if it isn't, then what could it be? I thought maybe if I came on here I could find out if others in here have experienced this.
