Has anyone with RLS used air compression leg and foot massagers? If so what were the results?

I have long compression socks which help. I haven't heard of leg and foot massagers. I will look in to see if any others post back with their experiences of them.

I often use a vibrating massager. It's called a hammer type. Electric with a thumping head which vibrates quite strongly. It is good for muscle stiffness and has often helped with restless legs.

I'm not sure what a pneumatic one is?

I’ve tried both and he didn’t do that much for me. They may help the little Back when I tried them but after a week of using them I stopped them both. But everybody’s different, it might work for you

Do you have a photo or an advertisement describing it?

I had one of the foot massagers and it helped a lot, there was a setting which inflated a balloon over your feet which was great, problem is it didn't last long, look on e bay shaped like an egg sort of.

The massager arrived this morning and I've tried it and it's great, I like the pressure function which squeezes your feet. It cost £44.31 from eBay, Foot Massager Machine Deluxe Circulation Kneading Deep Shiatsu Heat Massager. If it lasts 6 months I'll be happy and just get another, comes with remote control.

I had calf air compressor, massager as a mothers day gift. I suffer with RLS .

Up until now I can't see any improvement on RLS. So disappointed.

I will keep trying, perhaps it takes time. Good luck.

Sorry to say I bought both an air massager and a revitive xi electric shock foot massager. Both give short term relief but no more than half an hour in my case so pointless. I think it's just the pain that refocuses the mind lol

I just asked my movement disorders nurse and physiotherapist. And both said I would be better off working on exercise.

Hi, I should've read the other posts before writing my own about leg massagers.

Here is my post from a couple of minutes ago:

Yes, I also often use massage, as I spend a lot of time at the computer and after that my muscles ache and my back hurts. For massage I use massage gaming chair, it is very convenient every moment when I feel tension in my muscles, I fold the chair and enjoy the massage, read more here communityclinicassociation.... . The chair also has excellent cushioning and the padding is actually quite nice and thick on which it is pleasant not only to get a massage, but also just to relax.
