Pregabalin to gabapentin

Hi, some advice please. I am taking 300mg pregabalin at night. I have complete relief from restless legs but am having headaches every single day. I see that headaches are a side effect of pregabalin so I was thinking I'd have to change to gabapentin. How would I go about doing that??

I did it the other way round. I was on 2700mg of Gabapentin and switched immediately to 450mg of Pregabalin. As they are in the same drug family there was no need to phase the change. I think your equivalence would be 1800 mg of Gabapentin
