Can anybody tell me if there is a support group for RLS in Northern Ireland. I have had RLS for 2 years now and I am finding it very difficult to get the right treatment or even a sympathetic ear from the NHS, Really finding this problem is taking over my life to the extent that I dont have a life any more.

Not that I've heard of,but you'll always find a sympathetic and, even more important, knowledgeable ear on here.
You will be extremely lucky if you get good treatment. If you want to post what is happening I would bet you are much more likely to get a response that will help than if you went to the vast majority of GP's.
Hi ocre, As raffs says you will find good help and advice here from other sufferers unless you are very lucky in finding a doctor who has an interest in RLS. So welcome and we hope you will post more soon. In the meantime, if you have not visited the RLS-UK website here is the address: rls-uk.org
I really dont know I tried googling it & couldn't get anywhere-the only reference to it was on nidirect.gov.uk/conditions/... but unfortunately there wasnt any contact details for a support group. Again there are a couple of other sitesrls-uk.org/ & rls.org/get-involved/find-s... Have a look at those sites to see if there are any help to you
I can tell you there is no group on here or FB or the internet in general for Ireland. They all have to use the UK and on FB we have people from all over the world. But no groups based in Ireland.
I am also from N Ireland and I don't know of any groups here. I use this forum as a good reference guide and advice point. I have had rls from I was a child and I am now 65. I can tell you it has become much worse in the last 10 years. Like you, life is such a struggle as with little sleep it is hard to keep on top of everything. I am always forgetting appointments.
