Low Oxalate Diet

I've been watching the channel 5 programme tonight and I feel so badly for those people as I know exactly how they feel. I suffered for over 30 years with RLS until I went on a strict low oxalate diet for my fibromyalgia, the difference it has made to my life cannot be put into words. Its not an easy diet and doctors really don't have a clue, so no help there, its took several weeks to take effect, but its definitely worth a try.

Oxalates have been mentioned as a trigger for rls. I came across it first from a post on

rlshelp.org

a few years ago. Since then a good few people have found it helpful.

Thanks for posting.

Various diets seem to help some people. The low fodmaps diet is another that comes up quite often - although that’s almost the complete opposite to the low oxolate diet.

Just shows that what works for one may not work for another.
