Trazodone

I am currently taking 50 ml of Trazodone with 50 ml of pramipexole. This allows me 6 hours of sleep. Has anyone had any problems taking this sleeping med?

I take Hydrocodone for the RLS and about 3 months ago, started taking 50mg of Trazadone for insomnia. That dosage did nothing, and a second doc recommended 100 to 200 mg @ bedtime. So I started with 150 mg. It knocked me out and I slept like a baby for about 11 hours (it felt sinful). But I also had hallucinations and was brain dead the next day. So I tinkered with the dosage and found 100 mg works best and so far works well. No other side effects .

What does 50ml of pramipexole mean? Do you mean 0.50mg?

If so, that is a dose higher than is now recommended, and you could be augmenting.

When did you start prami, and what was the dose?

Yes, I meant mg. I had bilateral knee replacements last March. Before surgery rolprinerole and clonazapan kept my RLS under control. They stopped working when the pain meds hydrocodone were prescribed. My doctor retired. My new doctor prescribed 100ml prami. I have reduced that to 50, and want to halve it again. Need to know of any trazodone problems.

Trazodone is recommended by the RLS Foundation. It seems to be a goodie! Have no fear!
