Hi
Does anybody know if travel sickness tablets have an adverse affect on rls ?
Thanks
I think they do as travel sickness pills have antihistamine in them if i am thinking correct. I use wrist bands for travel that can be bought in any Chemist . boots.com/boots-adult-trave...
Yes they did set my RLS off when I tried them years ago. I can take Zofran for nausea, it might help with travel sickness. It is prescription only though x
They have a section on what you can and cannot take on the website rlshelp.org
If I remember correctly, you should not take Bonine or Reglan.
A safe one is Zofran. It is expensive so they recommend one that you can get thru a Canadian pharmacy cheaply with a prescription.
I also plan to get a Sea-Band.
Thank you I did wonder if they might have antihistamines in them will see if I can get Zofran I'm in the UK so maybe different
Thanks again everyone
I am in the UK too. Another safe anti sickness med which isn't as expensive as Zofran is Domperidone and I have has that prescribed by my GP in the UK. You could get it over the counter at one point but as it's not recommended for those with heart conditions it is now prescription only x
