I have silent reflux - absolutely no symptoms except an inflammation of the inside of my bottom teeth. I'm sure it contributes to fragmented sleep and on occasion, I will take Apple Cider Vinegar and Baking Soda or an acid reducer at bedtime. During the day I can chew gum to increase saliva and alleviate that symptom with the teeth. The head of my bed is raised up 6 inches or so. This is a sleep issue and can combine with sleep issues emanating from RLS. I guess everything is connected to everything else!

That's very interesting. I know I have significant nocturnal acid reflux pretty often. I usually blame myself for eating the wrong things at the wrong times and get very cross with myself that I'm adding to my own problems as of course reflux is worse when you lie down and I might have been able to get some sleep in otherwise.

It also might explain why eating late makes RLS worse as the stomach is full and more at risk of reflux.

I haven't done anything about it as I always think I could control it better if I just tried harder!
