I came across this useful list of medications that can help with withdrawal. They are specifically for opiates, but the symptoms are similar for virtually any withdrawal.

Good luck to all.

Thanks for this, madleg. It's timely for me as am currently reducing my dose of pregabalin and getting unpleasant withdrawals. They aren't as intense as opioid withdrawals - nowhere near - but they are nonetheless undermining my ability to function normally and I was wondering what I could do to help. I am already using some of the suggested remedies to good effect and it's nice to see them recognised. I will skim over the irony of gabapentin being the second on the list of helpful prescription drugs.
Yes! I thought that might tickle a few people!
As you know from experience, the slower one tapers down, the better- giving the body time to adjust.
The last fortnight is usually the hardest. I found the Clonidine and Diazepam the most helpful at this stage. ( Coming off Fentanyl after spinal reconstruction)
Methadone is apparently also helpful, but we can't get it in Ireland.
All the very best.
