This is for anyone, but im wondering something. For the peiple out there is colleges, (20s and up) have you experienced more RLS if you have extremely long lectures or difficult/stressful classes? I seem to have trouble keeping still in courses longer then 45 mins. It also effects me when i study or when i am getting ready to sleep. I've always had a form of this. Whenever I eat I get it, or when i am first waking up my legs shake. Its not painful or a sensation. It just automatically happens and i dont know why.

Do you eat things with raising agents in them? Biscuits etc?

Fizzy drinks- colas etc?

Msg? In many processed foods and especially Chinese takeaways.

Medications such as antihistamines for hay fever, or antidepressants such as Amitriptyline?

All of these things need looking at and avoiding.

All the best with your studies.

I have observed that with being forced to sit still for long periods without strong mental focus, e.g. flights, long drives, watching tv, my rls tends to ‘want some attention’. Moving about or just trembling my legs for a shorter or slighter longer time currently takes care of that.
