My question is why do I adapt to everything that works for my RLS? I see some that take ex. Hydrocodone for years and still works...it works for me for a max of 3 days?
Why do some adapt to treatments and o... - Restless Legs Syn...
Why do some adapt to treatments and others don’t?
One thing we do know,is that everyone is different.
Are you taking other things that might be counter productive or reactionary?
For instance-magnesium interacts negatively with about 200 medications.
Alcohol negates a lot of meds as well.
It might be worth talking to a pharmacist, to explore interactions.
Or , it may just be your own peculiar genetic makeup.
Good luck.
I hear you. I have something similar. Was on ropinirol low dose (half of 0,25mg to 0,75 mg) for about 4 months when I augmented, although I didn’t know until several months later). Have been on tramadol lowest dose for 8 months and just stopped it because I realised it stopped working already a while ago. I couldn’t stand higher doses. Gabapentin doesn’t work exept give me nasty side effects at doses higher than 300mg. Magnesium (in the morning to avoid interactions) and iron do not do much either. So, yes, I hear you. But no answer than “waad” like Madlegs said.
Neverquitting, what do you do and/or take now?
