I don't know about early menopause, but I certainly found that my RLS got a lot worse as I started going through the change. It went from an occasional annoyance to a daily burden.

Same here - menopause seems to have worsened things. Also, it was much worse whenever I was having a period; so for me there definitely appears to be a hormonal link.
