Wow!

We are going to need more info. to better help you. Examples: how long have you had RLS? What meds. are you on/ what meds. have you tried in the past (for RLS, the ED, etc.)? Any other info. that might help?

actually

I am 34 and I am strugling with rls for approximate 3 years which has got worsen last year and made me use tens (nerve stimulator) which works no more. now adays I experience it more than 10 times in a month. no drugs I am using. I have heard acetaminophen codeine may work but I haven't tried it.

to tell you the truth I have known Rls for a year and I didn't know that. but my mom has it and using no drugs becouse she doesn't know it is a disease. she has got better now.

but about me, I have no other risk factors for erection dysfunction beacuse I have checked hormons like free testostrone routinly which was in range (3). and I got a blood circulatory for pennis cheched which was ok.

thank you for your time

I have read in an article which ED in related to rls somehow. both are affected by dopamin depression.

You’re welcome.

Codeine helps my RLS, but since things affect people differently, don’t be disheartened if you try it and it doesn’t work.

I don’t have any experience with a TENS machine, but the fact that yours doesn’t work for you anymore might mean your RLS is getting worse. Am I correct in saying that? Do you have a neurologist? They are the ones to see for RLS related issues. I suggest getting your GP to refer you to one.

It’s late here and I’m off to bed, but others will be by with more advice.

Good luck!

Do you think your ED is connected to your rls? Some of the medications for rls can have an impact on libido (both positively and negatively). I think this is because they work on the dopamine receptors but you are not on medication. There may be a link between rls and sexual desire but I don't know about it. Codeine is, if anything, more likely to dampen sexual arousel than stimulate it. I'm not sure what to suggest but maybe some of the male posters will be along to comment. Perhaps it would be an idea to email Dr. Buchfuhrer on rlshelp.org. He might have some comment to make.

hi

thank you so much for your suggestion. actually I see a neurologist today. he recommend me to take sifrol. as you said it may have both negetive or positive effect on sectual activity. he said if sifrol didn't help you, you had better take viagra.

As involuntary dancer suggests Email Dr Mark Buchfuhrer he is based in California US he is probably the foremost physician who treats RLS describe all of your problems and the treatments you have tried I don,t know if the tens machine is similar to the device used by some sufferers but it is not effective for some people.Every one reacts differently so it may take some time to find what will help you.The doctor does not want abbreviations. iI hope you get some relief this is a truly debilitating condition.
