I recently came across an article stating that Parkinson's was becoming an epidemic. I've certainly become aware that it is more prevalent . The article stated that modern farming methods was causing a lack of nutrients. It went on to suggest eating lots and lots of berries. (Wild berries are even better.) it said that the anti-oxidants and polyphynols in the berries can repair receptors in the nervous system.
I've also read that cherries calm gout by 30%. I think gout is caused by uric acid in the system. I've often felt that my Body is buzzing with agitation which I need to calm down.
Hope that helps.

I have severe primary painful RLS inherited from my father. Over the last two years I was becoming more and more ill. Last November I could barely walk and shuffled along like someone with Parkinson's disease. I had hands that were shaking so much they were worthy of cocktail making and my head had a slight tremor too....it turned out to be severe B12 deficiency. I'm now self injecting B12 and slowly getting better. I drink Kefir twice a day (full of probiotics and B12) and I can feel my smile coming back. When my deficiency was at it's worst, my previously medication controlled RLS came broke through with a vengeance. The eperdemic might well be B12 deficiency . Please check out these videos. B12 isn't just any old vitamin (as I thought) but essential to life ....literally!
