I'm taking Pramipexole (mixapexin) for my restless legs. I've heard somewhere that some tablets for Hayfever (I take cetirizine) can exacerbate augmentation... Does anyone know if this is so? And are there any anti histimine tablets are more suitable... Doctor doesn't seem to know. ❤

Claritin or Allegra seem to be ok.
Antihistamines don't cause augmentation but do exacerbate rls.
Go to the rlsuk site for a leaflet on medications to avoid which you can print out and donate to your medical team.

I have the painful variant of RLS (inherited from my father) and I take 5mg morphine ms plus 100mg of pregabalin n the morning and then 15mg Morphne MS and 200 or 300mg of pregabalin n the evening at 7.00p.m.
